1. Who Operates Tigrus AI

Tigrus AI is operated by Tigrus AI LLC, a Texas limited liability company. Questions about this policy can be sent to legal@tigrus.ai.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: your name and email address, the grade, subjects, and study goals you enter during onboarding, an optional profile photo, and the study content you create, including notes, flashcards, quizzes, and mind maps. We also record which AI tools you use and when, so we can apply your plan allowance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information to provide, maintain, and improve Tigrus AI, including organization, learning tools, and personalized study recommendations.

4. Artificial Intelligence

Tigrus AI uses third-party artificial intelligence providers to generate flashcards, practice questions, summaries, mind maps, and transcriptions. When you use an AI feature, the content you submit for that request is sent to those providers so a result can be returned.

We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train our own models. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify anything you rely on for coursework, exams, or decisions that matter.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. Beyond the AI providers described above, and the payment processor that handles subscriptions, your study notes and personal content are not shared with others without your consent.

6. Data Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

7. Data Retention

We retain information while your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may delete your account through app settings.

8. International Data Transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than your own with appropriate safeguards in place.

9. Children Privacy

Tigrus AI is intended for users 12 and older. If we learn we collected information from a child under 12 without consent, we will delete it as quickly as possible.

10. Your Rights

You may request access, updates, deletion, copies of your data, or restrictions on processing by contacting us.

11. Cookies and Analytics

We may use analytics to understand app usage and improve performance. Users can opt out of analytics in app settings.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and notify users by posting the new policy in the app and updating the last-updated date.

13. Data Breach Notification

If a data breach affects personal information, we will notify users within 72 hours of discovery by email and in-app notification.
